Honestly I could NOT put this book down!
I finished in one setting as I was totally enthralled.
Quell and her mother are on the run from magic, however when you wish to hide they always seem to find you.
Unfortunately to escape from death Quell escapes to something that would be just one step above….Grandmothers place. A place where Grandmother runs all and is the Headmistress of one of the main four houses. A place where it’s harder to hide your true self when all is looking at you to be the next heir of House Marionne. A place where revealing your true self can get you killed, a place where others are disappearing around you for having the same affliction.
Quell must decide to do what her grandmother wants or decide if she follows her own path.
The book is Beautifully written, and the cover art is amazing!
