This was a great intro to a romantic fantasy for the fans of Mary Pearson's Remnant Chronicles. This is a clever fantasy story with assassins and ballgowns and I enjoyed getting to know the characters. Quell feels a bit immature at times, but I have a feeling it is intentional to showcase her character development throughout the story. Looking forward to seeing what's next in this story.
