I am a lover of young adult fantasy books. There has to be a certain type of world created for me to feel enveloped in the author's created world. The synopsis itself drew me right in. This book seems to be the perfect mix of dark academia, intricate world-building, and captivating romance. Often times, fantasy worlds are hard to follow and take a while to truly "get into" the world. The short excerpt of this book showed the intricate, yet relatively simple-to-understand world building that takes place in the first few chapters. I'm so upset I wasn't able to use my points to claim this book, but I would still love to read it. This type of book seems right up my alley and would definitely be a favorite of mine. It takes a specific type of fantasy book to pull me in, and this one definitely did that.
