I love that that we jumped straight into the thick of it twice; the page with the note or letter from the Order is such a pull for me as a reader and raises all the questions.
I like that even though this story is about Quell we were able to have another POV from a mysterious character, but the thing I'm more so surprised at is that it seems like there are pages for a map, which is something that is usually reserved for high/second world fantasies.
Something that left me wanting is her dscription of the characters, she is giving the most bare bones of descriptions leaving out skin color, hair color, eye color or at the very least describing them with one of those physical characteristics and leaving you guessing for the rest. So I hope she will reveal more as the story unfolds.
