This was an interesting concept and the world-building in the beginning was good. I was really surprised by the prologue, "The Dragun." I didn't expect it to go the way it went. I enjoyed meeting Quell and her mom. The story was a touch darker than I expected it to be and got there quickly. It will be interesting to see where the story goes.
