Honestly, I would have picked up this book for the gorgeous cover alone, but I was sold from the plot. I mean, magical societies, mysteries, and morally gray characters (aka some of my favorite book elements) sign me up! And as soon as I read the first page, I knew that I would love this book—between the descriptive writing and intriguing characters (not to mention the fact that the book is going to include a map!), I'm already hooked. I cannot wait to see where Quell's story goes next!
