After reading the First Look of House of Marionne, I am really excited to read the rest of this book. I'm intrigued by so much of the story already. I want to know more about the Draguns and their magic and why they are so dangerous. I want to know more about Quell's magic and why it has forced her and her mother to be on the run for so many years. And then there is the mysterious grandmother and the fantastic estate! Clearly there is a whole hidden family history here that Quell knows nothing about and I can't wait to find out more along with her. And the cover of this book is stunning, so between the plot being exciting from page one and that, I should have no trouble getting my students to read House of Marionne.
