This was such an intriguing premise! I love stories where magic takes place right under people’s noses in the modern day world. The writing already pulls you in and keeps the chapters action filled and engaging. There’s a sinister undertone put in place by the prologue that also drives the story and makes you wonder more about the dark sides of this magic.
