I loved the fast pace of the beginning! The story wastes no time in laying the groundwork for getting the plot moving and there's so much going on. I am a sucker for magical societies that have rules and roles, and we get just enough to get a taste of the danger, intrigue, and the sheer possibility of the world Quell is about to enter. Looking forward to reading this!
