From the very beginning this book sucked me in. The haunting looks back into the past caused chill bumps to erupt all over my body. To look at your own kids and think, “What are they?” Is absolutely terrifying.
I loved the character development throughout the story. I flcouldnt help but feel what the characters were feeling .. whether it was fear in the path of a missing sister.. or fear in what they would have to face to get her back.
What really happened when they were taken so many years ago? I was on the edge of my seat anticipating what could have happened to those little girls.
The truth was more horrifying than I could have imagined.
This was a truly entertaining horror story. Yes I say horror because I could taste the fear... feel it slithering around me. I slept with a nightlight on after reading this.
I highly recommend this to everyone. A word of warning .... lights on.... don’t be a hero and read in the dark.
