I absolutely loved this book, when I first bought it I had never heard of it before but the cover looked amazing so I got it. I loved how descriptive it was a the mysteries that kept coming. I would say there were a lot of pretty predictable plot points or twists but there were some that came out of left field but it didn't make the book any less enjoyable. I would 100% recommend this book to anybody who enjoys mysteries or horror. It was definitely a fantasy book but I enjoyed how it kept it as if it were realistic fiction but just added in the mystical stuff so it was easier to follow along rather than the ones that make up a whole new world and new species that have names that are hard to follow. This book was very well written and I've been looking into more books by this author because the only other one I've read was really old and didn't reflect this book at all.
