This modern fairytale was edgy and mesmerizing. It definitely ensnared me from the beginning. I was on the edge of my seat along with the the sisters biting my nails trying to figure out what was going on and how this was going to end. Although I seen the end coming it still did not take away or disappoint from the beautiful writing and the atmospheric prose. This book was unforgettable to me and I wish more writers would take the edgier route when attempting or rewriting a classic fairytale into a modern day take. Although the characters were all different and refreshing I found myself relating to each one in a different way. I was able to escape into this world that the author created and escape my reality. This is the one thing I always look for in books that’s amazing. Yes please, take me to another place where I can escape my everyday routine. I highly recommend this book it was exciting and different.
