What an incredibly haunting and creeping young adult novel! This book had me creeped out in the best way possible. It was one of those books I could read at night, but it had the potential to make my skin crawl at any moment. And I loved it!
It took me all of about a single page to get into this story. I could tell right from the beginning that it was going to be one I liked, and I was not wrong. I was hooked from start to finish and found myself staying up late into the night because I just could not put this book down. This book definitely has a fairytale vibe, but not any ordinary fairytale. This one is dark and twisted and makes you question whether you’re rooting for the right people.
I’m not surprised to see this book getting a lot of hype. For me, it lived up to that hype. I’m sure it will be a popular 2021 release that many people are talking about!
