This book was unlike most other books I have read before. First, the intricate detail of the cover and the flowers in the beginning of each chapter was something that drew me in and really tied into the theme of the book. Also, the way Krystal Sutherland described things in a twisted and haunted way really brought the book to life and I was able to vividly picture what was happening with each chapter. This book depicted that not everything or everyone in your life may be as it seems from the outside. I definitely did not expect some of the darkness that was in this book but overall I really enjoyed exploring the lives of the Hollow Sisters. The sisters were strongly connected to each other and the book portrayed how far family will go to protect one another.
