This book was really interesting and a fresh take on YA fantasy. I loved the fairytale and body horror elements, it definitely brought something new and cutting edge to this kind of story while still being familiar and engaging to readers who would normally pick up YA. Each of the sisters has her own unique personality. Gray is my favorite and I love the way all of the sisters interact with each other and their environment. The road trip element was cute and an unexpected addition. Although this book was not quite what I was counting on it being, I actually really liked the direction that it ended up taking and I would definitely read from this author again if I am looking for something in a similar vein. If you enjoy Rory Power and Holly Black both I would definitely recommend this book. The mix of horror and fantasy elements was very engaging.
