House of Hollow is a book that sinks under your skin and stays with you until the very last haunting page. From the very first page I was drawn into this unsettling world of missing children and rotted flowers. The story went in so many directions, but still was constant in the sometimes unsettling and even disgusting storyline and look at the relationships of sisters.

I loved the writing in this book. Once it got going, the story moved quickly at a good pace. Many of the characters were morally questionable, but they each had their own distinct personality. My heart broke at many points for some of the side characters.

The ending opens itself to a sequel, which I would love to see! The world has so many other places it could be explored, and it would be amazing to learn more about it.

Overall, I recommend this to fantasy lovers and fans of The Electric Kingdom.
