The sisters have unique personalities and complexities, coping with their unexplained pasts in differing ways. Although the novel is short at just under 300 pages, Iris’ self-discovery is incredibly raw and relatable as she unveils her inner strength. Krystal Sutherland has crafted a truly haunting novel filled with beautiful prose and imagery. The captivating cover manages to capture the nature and tone of this book perfectly. It is one of the most stunning YA novels I have ever read!
