This was a dark and twisty YA supernatural book about three sisters that magically vanished and came back one day.

Upon their return, they appeared to be their normal selves. Until one day when they woke up with white hair and eyes completely black, along with identical scars on their necks.

Despite their recent changes, their parents were extremely happy to have them back home with them. As time went on the parents came to see that their little girls weren’t their little girls anymore and that’s when things started to take a more sinister turn.

I have to say going into reading this I wasn’t sure I was going to follow and enjoy the complete story-line because it was very unrealistic, but then when you remember that it’s fiction and realize that what happened to them could have happened to other children just in a different way...it makes it feel more authentic.

After coming to that realization, the story seemed to progress and it was a nice dynamic between sisters. No two were the same and I liked how they had their own personalities and passions among themselves.

If you like magic and unexplained occurrences then you should check this book out. It was slow in the beginning but then picks up to a point where you just want it to end to see what ends up happening to them all.

I also felt like the author did a fantastic job with her description to detail not only with each character but with every scene they were put in.
