This book has me fascinated in more ways than one. It incorporated mystery, contemporary, and fantasy all in one and it is honestly just delighting. I honestly wish there was more to it because it ended way too quickly. It has been a while since the book came out and the "hype" on it has slowly died down which makes me sad, as it honestly deserves so much more. I was first lured in by the beautiful cover design and slowly discovered the story was just as fantastical and magical. The beginning started out slow but it was worth sticking around for in the end. I am left wanting more after that ending, and as a standalone it allowed for a complete resolution.
