Beautifully haunting story that will give you chills

This book is unlike anything that I would normally leave. It had an eery feeling throughout, but things got even creepier as the story progressed. This book was fairly fast paced and extremely vivid with it's details. As Iris Hollow and her sister Vivi follow clues to investigate their sister's disappearance, mysteries surrounding their initial disappearance are unraveled, and let me tell you there were so many things that I did not see coming. And that cover!!! Just like the Hollow sisters, it is beautiful yet contains a very eery and supernatural story. The author developed the characters in a way that made me feel attached to them, and I particularly loved the Vivi/Iris duo! Overall, I enjoyed this book more than I expected to and could not put the book down because after a few chapters the suspense began to really kick in and I was totally engrossed in all the secrets Grey Hollow kept to herself.

I saw no point in Tyler dying, he was such a charming character! I really hope the ominous ending Sutherland left off with means there's a chance Vivi and Iris will find him and bring him back. Also wish Grey got what was coming to her for the cruel things she's done to not only the Hollow family but to strangers who pissed her off too.
