I really enjoyed the opening of this novel. The opening scene had a creepy but also somehow whimsical, and I appreciate the unusual mix. The central characters seem to have a lot of depth to them and I'm definitely interested to learn more about them. It's also a unique premise and the cover fits perfectly - again somehow both creepy and whimsical. I'm definitely interested to read more.
