Open this book when you have several hours to yourself because judging from the preview pages, you will not want to put it down. Who doesn't like a good story, and who doesn't especially like a book that grabs you and doesn't let go until you have read as fast as you can and turned the last page. Just when I thought that I might have read enough fantasy books to last me for a long time, along comes HOUSE of HOLLOW. The first person narrator has two extremely unique sisters, but they are unique to the point of being scary. Readers will cheer for sisters Grey and Vivi when they use their unexplained (at that point) powers over others and make the female bully who is tormenting their younger sisters shave off her hair in front of everyone as she sobs for forgiveness.

Readers will enjoy the modern lives of the characters. Their mom drives a red Mini, and sister Vivi is a brash rock and roller who highlights her eye-catching beauty with profane tattoos. The suspense builds with every page as people testify to all sorts of strange occurrences, from observing a change in eye color among the sisters to suffering from nightmares after being in their presence.

Obviously, everyone who read the preview was thoroughly enchanted because there are no books left to claim. I have my fingers crossed for a copy of this thriller.
