I have always been a sucker for books with characters with mysterious pasts. Right off the bat I was intrigued; I needed to know more. I immediately got the chills reading the synopsis because it made me wonder “what happened to you?” (Picture my face as the thinking emoji.)
And when I read the opening line, it further piqued my curiosity. Because of course you always think of your younger self as strange. But how STRANGE are we talking about when it comes to the characters in this story?
I know this comes out in spring, but I feel like it’s October with that description.
