From the cover to the opening line, this book gripped my attention immediately. I teach high school English and am always on the lookout for books to add to my classroom library, but in this case, a copy of this book will be in my personal library as well.
The storyline is reminiscent of fairy tales from my childhood mixed with pop culture references such as Charmed, Supernatural, and Practical Magic but somehow manages to be wholly original.
It would be a definite privilege to be an early reader for this book. From these few pages, I can tell it's going to be something special.
