I am not usually a big fan of prologues, but for once I actually found this one rather captivating! It laid some really great foundation and intrigue and it made me curious to continue with the rest of the sample. Krystal Sutherland has a really beautiful style of prose and I found myself immersed in her language and the story very quickly. Can't wait to read more of these books!
