From literally the first line, Sutherland grabs hold tight and immediately draws you in. You won't get past the first page without chills, and I found myself wanting to turn on a brighter light to continue. But despite the almost disturbing introduction, I couldn't step away from the preview. Sutherland's prose is comfortable and familiar, and it felt like sitting beside my friend as she told me stories from her childhood. Keep an eye out for this release, because it will not be one to miss!
