Unfortunately I didn't like this book as much as I thought I would. This book was compared to The Night Circus and Caraval, and a special edition was put out by OwlCrate so I rushed to get the special edition because I was certain I was going to love it since Circus is one of my all time favorite books...but this was just lackluster, especially compared to Circus and Caraval. It was okay, but not great.
The book is about a pair of sisters who sign up to work at a circus but you have to be accepted. One is and one isn't and the one that isn't bribes her way in. There's love and magic and it's your typical YA fantasy book. If you've read Caraval, it's very similar, except the hotel travels every night and they wake up in a new location every day. I will say that that part was pretty cool, but other than that I didn't like the book very much. It was a struggle to get through.
