Not for me
This book had so much potential going for it. Magic hotel? Travels to locations around the world? Mystery behind it? Sounds like a great adventure!
Unfortunately, the plot was convoluted, the characters only semi-interesting, and let me tell you, the story dragged. I was looking forward to this but was sorely disappointed.
The romance was kinda cute, but I was so uninvested in the story that that was pretty much the only thing I was rooting for. There could have been so much to this book, but none of the initiative was taken. I wanted spectacular magic that actually mattered to the story, places to go that weren't the hotel, and a plotline that actually made sense. Unfortunately, I felt like I got none of those things.
Hotel Magnifique is a skip for me, and I might recommend it be a skip for you, too. Cool concept, didn't really go anywhere.
