I was super excited to get to read this one. First of all, the cover art in it us absolutely stunning! I would probably pick this one up just based on that alone. Secondly, the blurb immediately caught my attention. I knew I needed to get my hands on this one as soon as I could. Hotel Magnifique was a delightful YA read. The writing was whimsical and enchanting. It gave me major Caraval vibes. I loved the different magic systems and the idea of the traveling show. The plot was both action and character driven which kept me engaged throughout the story. I will ge recommending this yo many of my friends. I love that parts of it read more like a fantasy novel and other parts made the story feel more like a historical fiction. This was definitely a fun read and I can't wait to see what else the author does with it. I'd be interested in reading more from her too.
