I love this book! This book follows the story of Jani as she and her sister try and succeed at getting a job at the Hotel Magnifique. This hotel is known throughout the world as it reaches a new destination every day and anyone can receive a ticket although the price of entrance is high. The magic inside of the hotel is fascinating and it is clearly thought out by the author, but it is not over-explained to the point where the book is boring to read. Jani realizes that the owner of the hotel may not have the best intentions and ends up making a bond with another hotel worker, Bel. This book was genuinely amazing. I think it would be perfect for anyone who enjoyed the book Caraval. Both books give off a similar feel of pure wonder surrounding magic and how magic can be scary. I loved the story and the writing style of this book. I would definitely recommend it to my friends!
