This book has a really interesting and clever premise. I immediately put it on by TBR when I read the description. Overall, it was a fine book, but I must admit that I was a bit disappointed. The characters weren't as fleshed out as I wanted and for some reason I just felt that the book was a little boring. I liked it just fine, and I don't regret reading it but I can't say that I wasn't expecting a little more from it. Maybe I just wasn't that interested in the "twist" at the end that is meant to be the main plot point. Generally I would recommend this book for people who like fantasy generally and want just a quick read without too much going on. There's not too much world building to get going so it's an quick read with easy writing. If the romantic storyline was more fleshed out or something else happened, I probably would have given this more stars, but as is, I gave it 3.
