I was first drawn in by the magic of the first chapter, leading me into the mystery and enchantment of Hotel Magnifique. The hotel is one that appears on it's own timeframe, enchanting guests with the experience of a lifetime, then disappears without so much as a memory of what happened during the stay.
Two sisters, Zosa and Jane, are all each other has left in the world. Struggling to make ends meet and dazzled by the magic of the hotel, the two sisters are eager to find a way in. But the only way to enter is to be staff or be invited, which of course they are neither.
I am intrigued by the first look, and anxious to read more. The creativity of the story mixed with the fluidity of the writing drew me in and the mystery of the hotel and my curiosity what will happen to the sisters will ensure that I read the rest!
