I have been dying to read this book! I'm a huge fan of of Caraval and The Night Circus, so when I heard about Hotel Magnifique, I knew I had to read it! This is a YA fantasy that centers around a 17 year old girl called Jani. She uncovers disturbing secrets of the legendary hotel. Young Jani dreams of a better life. She works at a tannery, barely scraping by, and has to support herself and her sister Zosa.
The Hotel Magnifique comes into town and she learns that it has the ability to travel - traveling to a new place every day. While Jani and her sister can't afford to stay at the hotel, they interview to become part of its staff - only to discover that they can't leave while uncovering the hotel's secrets.
