Definitely an intriguing story that fantasy-lovers and young adults will enjoy. The first look established the main characters well in the first few chapters. Jani is a strong and likable character from the beginning and Bel appears to have an interesting story yet to be revealed. Add in the mystery around a magical hotel and this book is sure to be entertaining. The author appears to have the gift of creativity already introducing marvelous glass oranges, gold paste with healing powers and candles with curious flames within the first few pages. I definitely want to read more!
