This sounds like such a magnificently magical adventure! The story starts out with a young woman named Jani who is working at a tannery and caring for her sister. They both see that the Hotel Magnifique has blown into town and they go to investigate and apply for jobs to work for the Hotel. From the very beginning, this story is intriguing and gripping. It is tinted with magic and a bit haunting as well. The cover art is magnificent!
