I've been hearing the buzz about Hotel Magnifique for a while now, but I wasn't really drawn in - it hadn't even graced my endless Goodreads TBR shelves. This first impression really turned it around! Immediately you're grabbed with the grim prologue of magic and a mistake. I loved the introduction of our characters - not too much exposition but everything delivered organically. The graphics are a nice touch to make you feel invested as well. It's earned its place on my TBR!
