Enjoyed the vivid descriptions - first of the rough live the girls live in what seems like an alternate version of Paris, albeit primarily in the slums, and then of the hotel itself. I want to keep reading so I can find out how the hotel works, who else works there, and what exactly our protagonist will do to earn her keep!
