The cover caught my eye right away. It's vibrant and has an edge of mystery to it, daring me to open it. The first 50 pages give a great background of Jani and Zosa and how far Jani is willing to go to leave their circumstances. While I think it may be a bit predictable, I'm interested to see how everything pans out and the secrets behind the magic.
