At first, I was drawn in by the cover and title. Then the first line of the description mentioned Caraval and The Night Circus, two of my favorite books. Hotel Magnifique has been on my wish list for months. I've heard several creators on YouTube and Instagram discuss this dark fantasy and I'm anxiously awaiting publication. Dark fantasies aren't my go-to, but I like to read a few a year because I love being transported to a magical place where anything can happen.
Just like I enjoy an escape, in Hotel Magnifique Jani and her sister Zosa are looking to escape their harsh lives when a magical hotel comes to town.
