Firstly, I love the cover art and illustrative details within the book itself! After reading the prologue, I knew this would be just as captivating within. The ominous nature of the boy being taken set a dark tone. I loved the newspaper ad and it's ambiguity about preparing for elsewhere and to leave by midnight.
I do feel like sibling stories are saturated in the YA market right now, but this story seems captivating enough to stand on it's own. A mysterious traveling hotel/circus with dark elements has me eager to read more.
