As an avid consumer of sci fi/fantasy, rarely do good things happen when a child is surrendered by it's family to a mysterious, magical force. This book looks like it will be full of high tension and questions that are not easily answered. I also like that it is set up from the start that magic is dangerous. Hotel Magnifique looks like an amazing read!
