Magic hotels that are larger on the inside than they are on the outside. Ones that appear and disappear without warning and that are operated by magical beings that do not age. Are we to believe such a wondrous place that steals the memories of its very own patrons is completely without malevolence? Jani seems to think so and is banking on improving the lives of her and her sister through her employment at the Hotel Magnifique. Her first obstacle is actually being hired.
