this book sounds really interesting! it seems kind of in between a contemporary book but also almost a little bit like a historical fiction in setting. it's kind of that weird place that the early 2000s are in right now. i feel like i havent seen a lot of books set in this period that have been published recently. i enjoyed the writing and i like the cover.
