This book has a bad cover, but an intriguing first look. The first few chapters Amber tells us the beginning of her story. A tween Amber starts auditioning for acting roles and singing competitions in the early nineties. Then in 1997, she gets her big break to sing with a girl group. This story reminds me a bit of the Unraveling of Cassidy Holmes. I do not like the trashy cover.
