Because this is compared to I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy I thought this book was a memoir like that one, but this appears to be a fictional novel. It seems really strange to comp a nonfiction book. Moving on from that, I didn't enjoy the author's writing style and cannot see myself reading the rest of this book.
