As a person who was in high school in the late 90s early 2000s and was obsessed with pop culture, this struck a chord. It sounds like a fascinating look into a fictional, but realistic, life of a pop star during that crazy time in music and culture. Knowing what we know now about how these young people were treated back then I can only imagine the story this book will tell.
