Sounds like an interesting look at young artists getting started in show business set in the late 90's. I was hoping I'd find this more engaging than I did and while I recognized all the name drops and songs in the first look since this was my young adult time frame I didn't really jive with the writing, weirdly too young and too old for the character at the same time, perhaps more telling than showing for my liking as well. This would probably find it's audience in young readers, middle school or high school age.
