I particulary love all coming of age stories but if it's in the 90's or early 2000's, it's perfect for me. I was a teen and young adult during this time and coming of age myself, so I love all stories that take place at this time. Amber is also my favorite name which endears me to the main character. I love stories about pop singers and this sounds great. Especially since she is trying to escape from her small town. It is a familiar story, but one that I personally love.
