As soon as I saw it was based in the 90s-early 00s, I was hooked. I love all literature written/based in that time... and this was nothing short! Amber is a clear representation of every 12 year old who wanted to be on the big screen, and the author captures that is such a way it's almost as if a 12 year old is writing it, not to mention Banta's use of descriptive devices! Even from the first page the description was just top notch. From the writing, to the attractive cover, I need this book!
