I wasn't sure I liked the way the story started. It jumped and twisted in too many directions, getting ahead of itself sometimes. After I got a handle on the time line and who the main player was, I leaned into the story. Amber is going to be a famous singer in an all girl band. She comes from a not so good background and has tried just about everything to find the love and acceptance she needs. Maybe she has tried a little too hard. I can't wait to see how her life unfolds and if she will find she can accept herself.
